BLACK HOLE VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHS ON COMPUSERVE
Users of IBM PCs can get a peek at a black hole through a NASA video available in the Astronomy Download Area (GO BLACKHOLE). Using the Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers discovered a massive black hole at the center of galaxy M87. M87BH1.GIF and M87BH2.GIF are the original Hubble discovery photos, and M87JPL.TXT is a text file describing the discovery. The video is called M87BH.ZIP. Download RUNTIM.ZIP for the player software.
